We'll only use your email to contact you about the study and — if we reach our target number of participants — provide you with the hatai.ai account that will be used for the study.

• Responses to study-related questions (e.g., why you're interested in participating)

Data Retention

We will retain your personal information for the duration of the study and for a period of 6 months after the study concludes for research and analysis purposes. After this period, your data will be securely deleted or anonymized.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can request that we delete your personal information. We will comply with such requests unless we have a legitimate reason to retain the data (e.g., ongoing research obligations).

Sharing with Hatai: If we reach our target number of participants for the study, we will share your email address with Hatai in order to set up user accounts that will be used for the study. You will need to complete that account later, and at that point you will need to accept Hatai's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy separately.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

Our study is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
